St. Louis Grand Prix Powerboat races are looking BRIGHTER, with the
support of City Lighting Products
St. Louis, MO July 18, 2007
The St. Louis
Grand Prix Powerboat Races, sponsored by Bud Light, has received
additional sponsorship from St. Louis based City Lighting Products.
The races will be held on August 4th and 5th,
2007, at Creve Coeur Lake.
This is the 36th
year for the races that are organized by the Concord Village Lions
Club. This year the Professional Fire Fighters of Eastern Missouri,
Local 2665, have joined forces with the Lions club to help with
tickets, concessions, and Emergency Medical Support.
Race Chairman,
Bill Seebold, made the announcement today, “The 36th
annual St. Louis Grand Prix is looking a lot brighter. I am pleased
to announce that City Lighting Products has committed to sponsoring
the event this year, as they have done so for several years. The
City Lighting Products logo will be proudly displayed on all of the
race boats this year”.
Tim Hohl, Vice
President of Sales, of City Lighting Products said, “I have enjoyed
the St. Louis Grand Prix races for many years. The Concord Village
Lions Club has always done a fantastic job with this event, and has
raised a tremendous amount of money for several charities, and City
Lighting Products is proud to be a part of it. We have a great time
at Creve Coeur Lake, and like to see the racing action right from
the waters edge”.
The 36th
annual St. Louis Grand Prix Powerboat Races will feature
drivers from all over the USA, and internationally. Classes
participating will be the CHAMP Boats, also know as CHAMP1, the
CHAMP2 or SST 120’s, and the CHAMP3 or SST 45’s. For more
