St. Louis
Grand Prix Powerboat Races adds Environmental Operations, Inc., EOI,
as the Champ 2 Sponsor
St. Louis, MO July 18, 2007
The St. Louis
Grand Prix Powerboat Races, sponsored by Bud Light, is proud to
announce that St. Louis based Environmental Operations, Inc., EOI,
has committed to sponsoring the Champ 2 class, 30 lap final. The
races will be held on August 4th and 5th,
2007, at Creve Coeur Lake.
The Concord
Village Lions Club has organized the boat races for 35 years. This
year they are getting some much needed support from the Professional
Fire Fighters of Eastern Missouri, Local 2665, which will be helping
with ticket sales and concessions.
Race Chairman, Bill Seebold, made the announcement today, “The 36th
annual St. Louis Grand Prix is coming together nicely. I am very
excited about Environmental Operations, EOI, sponsoring the races,
and specifically underwriting the Champ 2 class. EOI is also
providing additional sponsorship to boat racer Michael Seebold, and
EOI will be prominently displayed on Michael’s boat. Environmental
Operations has supported the races for the past few years, and they
have really stepped up this year”.
Stacy Hastie, Chairman and CEO, of EOI added, “Environmental
Operations, Inc., has enjoyed our relationship with the St. Louis
Grand Prix races, and we appreciate all of the hard work that goes
into this event. The opportunity to provide not just sponsorship,
but monies towards the charitable endeavors of the Concord Village
Lions Club is something that the whole EOI team is proud of. And,
we are looking forward to seeing the EOI logo on Michael Seebold’s
boat, and wish him the best of luck at the St. Louis race.
The 36th annual St. Louis Grand Prix Powerboat Races
will feature drivers from all over the USA, and internationally.
Classes participating will be the CHAMP Boats, also know as CHAMP1,
the CHAMP2 or SST 120’s, and the CHAMP3 or SST 45’s. For more
